Abstract

SUMMARY

No difference between wild type and RA27/3 strains of rubella virus was revealed by sedimentation or polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis. Antibodies in post-infection and post-vaccination sera differed in their affinity for wild-type and RA27/3 strains, suggesting an antigenic difference.
