Abstract

Two cases involving polymicrobial culture-negative samples were investigatedby 16S rRNA gene sequencing, with analysis of mixed chromatograms. , and were identified from pleural fluid in a patient with Lemierre'ssyndrome and and were identified from a petechia in a patient with meningococcal disease.
