Abstract

We report a third case of infection, which was found in a 50-year-old female following face rejuvenation surgery with fat grafting. The pathogen was identified using 16S rRNA gene and gene sequences. The growing diversity of non-tuberculosis mycobacterial species causing human infections emphasizes that early and precise identification is imperative for successful treatment.
