Abstract

A cornyeform bacterium was isolated from a blood culture from a 24-year-old man with familial hypertrophic non-obstructive cardiomyopathy, chronic abuse of anabolic steroids and prior admission to hospital because of clinical signs of sepsis. 16S rRNA gene analysis unambiguously identified .
