Abstract

SUMMARY

The repeated isolation of a haemolytic species of Haemophilus requiring V factor and preferring increased CO tension for growth is described. Other characters helpful in establishing the identity of such strains are given and the name Haemophilus paraphrohaemolyticus is proposed.
